When tasked with creating a natural complement to a cutting-edge motion-tracking display for the Screens team’s showcase at Olympia, the Linney Regenerate team knew it had to do something extraordinary. Our solution? A 3m by 4m moss wall installation that not only blended seamlessly with the tech-heavy environment but also brought a refreshing, organic contrast to the space.
The star of the event was a motion-tracking display, where people walking by were transformed into dynamic moss figures. This fun and interactive feature needed a natural counterpart, and we delivered. Using over 50kg of sustainably sourced moss, our team constructed a stunning wall that immediately stood out amidst the sea of digital screens. Vibrant preserved pink flowers added splashes of colour, making the installation both engaging and aesthetically striking.
In a venue where everything was sleek, shiny and tech-driven, our moss wall was a breath of fresh air – literally and figuratively. The wall became a focal point, drawing people in with its inviting, natural design. It was an excellent example of how nature can coexist with technology in a way that feels innovative and engaging.
Sustainability was woven into every aspect of this project. From sourcing the moss and flowers to the installation’s design for longevity, we ensured that the impact of this feature would extend beyond the event. Instead of being dismantled and discarded, the moss and flowers were repurposed into permanent displays throughout our business, ensuring the eco-friendly installation continues to inspire.
